  • The NOAH Certification Seal represents the builder's compliance with the NOAH Standard for that specific structure.
  • The NOAH Standard is a minimum requirement for certification, although builders may choose to exceed these standards.
  • The NOAH Standard incorporates safety & construction standards currently used by the Recreational Vehicle (in the case of a Tiny House on Wheels) & Home Building industries; with particular attention to the unique demands of a Tiny House - on wheels, foundation & other <400-square foot dwelling.
  • A NOAH Certification Seal displayed on the structure provides a visible symbol & confirmation of THAT Tiny House successfully completing the entire inspection process performed by NOAH inspectors.
  • NOAH Certification Seals are numbered and unique to each individual Tiny House structure.
  • All elements of each inspection record (audio, video, .jpg, .doc, etc.) are archived by Certification Seal number, VIN (or other identifier), & Name of Builder (Manufacturer, DIY or Educational) for easy identification in the future.
  • Inspection Records are archived & retrievable for review by lenders, insurers, individual owners, municipalities, etc.
  • NOAH Certification provides the unique distinction & credibility of a third-party, 5-stage inspection of EACH Tiny House structure.

How To Schedule an Inspection

Step 1:  Become a NOAH Member following the steps above.

Step 2:  You will receive an email with instructions for down loading the FREE Inspection App used by NOAH Inspectors.

Step 3:  Schedule an Inspection (24-hrs to 3 months in advance)

  • Choose your time zone then date & time you desire
  • Check the appropriate Inspection Stage - that's it!

Step 4:  Review the NOAH sample inspection videos in preparation for the pending inspection.

Step 5:  You will receive email &/or text reminders of your pending inspection.  Minutes before your scheduled inspection, you will receive a text message with a link to "Join Session" to connect with an inspector.

Step 6:  Once connected, please activate your microphone & camera for the inspector to see & hear through your Smart Device.  You will be able to hear the inspector as they facilitate the inspection.

  • Each inspection is recorded & archived - inspector notes, still shots & video are available by request in the future.
  • Upon completion of the inspection you will be notified of passing the inspection.  If not, specific deficiencies will be discussed & a re-inspection will be scheduled.  Oftentimes, the re-inspect can be handled at the beginning of the next stage inspection.
  • Occasionally, our inspectors may need to consult with other professionals - engineers, electricians, etc. This may take 24 to 48-hours but in most cases consultations are addressed quickly.

NOAH inspection services are designed to work with your production schedule.  However fast or slow you need to go we can accommodate your build(s).

Our robust systems, stream-lined processes, certified professional inspectors, consultants & staff are ready to serve you so your Tiny House can be CERTIFIED BUILT RIGHT!
