Tiny House Hotels with Big Personalities

WINWORD_2018-10-09_06-19-00 The Tiny House Industry is booming, this fascinating and alternative way of living continues to be a subject of interest with people from coast to coast. The Tiny House concept has grown so much that it’s actually branched out to Tiny House Hotels! Your experience at a Tiny House Hotel may become an excellent deciding factor on whether you decide to go Tiny or not. If you stay a night or two, and absolutely love it – you might consider living Tiny full-time. And that’s what these Tiny House Hotels are here for – to satisfy your curiosity. But they are seemingly taking it one step further by giving these Tiny Houses their very own personalities! Let’s take a closer look at some of these uniquely designed and engineered Tiny Houses. Their meticulous details and personalized themes are truly extraordinary! 1. Beach House at Tiny Digs Portland Hotel This Tiny House has got the beach theme all figured out – equipped with a beach themed loft, a boat prism in the bathroom, and everything else in between. My personal favorite is the glass sink in the bathroom which encapsulates beach sand, seashells, and sea glass. This Tiny House beach décor definitely makes you think the ocean is nearby – or maybe right outside your window! Check out the rest of the Beach Tiny House. Read More

NOAH’s Featured Builder for the Month of October 2018

IMG_04781 We are pleased to announce Mustard Seed Tiny Homes has been chosen to be honored as NOAH’s Featured Builder of the Month! Clint, Haley and their Team produce high-end Tiny Homes for ‘Today’s’ Market. What we mean by that is that today’s buyer is decisive and knows what they want, they expect quality and beauty, Mustard Seed delivers on both fronts. I was fortunate enough to tour their latest creation when attending the Decatur GA Festival! The woodworking and stair joinery were some of the best I’ve ever seen. There was even an impressive covered porch and rooftop deck! Sign me up! NOAH would also like to acknowledge the efforts and the truly positive impact that Mustard Seed Tiny Homes has had not only on the Tiny House Community, but also internationally through their philanthropic endeavors! Not every company values the benefits of giving back, this company does. Locally, they partner with Ground Zero Grace – a nonprofit in Atlanta that practically serves the elderly, disabled, and families in need in our surrounding area. Internationally, they are partnered with Ithemba Shacks in Cape Town, South Africa. This incredible ministry trains and employs local men from the township of Masiphumelele to build new homes for struggling families within their community. For more info visit their website. Again, Congratulations to Clint & Haley for being selected as NOAH’s Featured Builder of the Month! As a small token of our appreciation we will be sending out a NOAH Swag Box to the Team at Mustard Seed Tiny Homes! (Be sure to take a photo and tag us on social media so that we know you’ve received it).

Big Tiny Trends

Things are always changing so fast in the Tiny House Industry, it’s exciting and we love it! So much creativity and hard work producing some of the most beautiful homes ever seen. I am always hearing about another opportunity for placement opening up that I need to list on imatinyhouser.com, and I am seeing more and more options for insurance and reasonable financing are becoming available as well. Its much-anticipated news that Tiny Houses are more readily accepted by “the mainstream“ every day. So, not unlike large single-family homes that are subject to consumer demand and taste, Tiny House Design is proving to be as well. Some trends rearing their head in the design aspect of Tiny Homes are reclaimed wood accents, gold tone fixtures and top-of-the-line appliances.  A Big Tiny Trend right now, are SMEG appliances. Their refrigerators slap a smooth spin on retro-modern and check out this SMEG 2-in-1 Washer! Convenience is always on trend so a propane level indicator strip or this Blindry window covering might be right up your alley. There are many adaptations you can stimulate your Tiny Home with to make it your own through functionality and of course through design, so stay on trend and enjoy Living Tiny! chrome_2018-10-15_08-18-06 SMEG 2-in-1 Washer chrome_2018-10-15_08-23-18 Blindry
