Robin Butler - CEO

Bio-1

Born in Kentucky, raised in Maryland, Robin originally took over a family construction business in 1974 and has been self-employed in construction ever since. He moved to Florida in 1992 to help rebuild Homestead, Florida after Hurricane Andrew. In the summer 2015, he started NOAH Certified, a third-party inspection and certification company for tiny houses on wheels.

As Founder of NOAH Certified, Robin brings 40+ years of experience building homes. From concept to completion, he’s designed homes, drawn plans, and built homes of all sizes. His experience working with the permit department, building inspections/inspectors, and planning and zoning provide a deep body of knowledge for the inspection and certification process. 

Robin enjoys traveling the county speaking about standards and building codes for tiny houses on wheels. And, in his spare time, Robin likes to fish, snorkel and go hiking in the mountains. He is a happily married empty-nester, with four kids and seven grandkids, with three generations of family currently serving on the NOAH Certified team including Robin’s 23-year-old grandson.

Bonnie Butler - Vice President

Bio-10

Bonnie comes to NOAH Certified with a background in Business and Finance.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from New Hampshire College and she spent 23 years in marketing, product management, customer service, and finance. Before joining the NOAH team, Bonnie focused her talents in the financial industry as a loan officer.

 

Prior to marrying Robin Butler, Bonnie was a single mom for 20 years and understands the value in living a simple life and the importance of quality family time which is what intrigued her about the tiny house movement. Bonnie enjoys meeting and serving people. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, gardening, and of course attending tiny house events.

Jordan Miller - Head of I.T.

As head of IT for NOAH Certified, Jordan Miller brings 5 years of experience as well as passion and dedication in his ability to support, create, market, and promote NOAH and its member community online. He is an integral part of the organization who meets the everyday challenges to creatively design new and innovative ways to represent ‘NOAH Certified’ via social media marketing and web design. 

Jordan has always had an interest in all things technical from an early age. “I would dissect any technological device in my path, just to study and learn the inner workings of the hardware, “ says Miller. “Since then, I have built upon my knowledge and understanding of the forever evolving technological world, enabling me to successfully support and manage all technological functions within the business.

Cheri Sherrill - Office Manager

Cheri has worked in several office positions and supported many different professions from the medical field to construction, real estate to photography. She has worked for companies both in the US and internationally. Cheri has over 30 years experience in office administration.

 

Cheri believes that when an office runs smoothly a company can prosper. She is passionate about NOAH and knows that the tiny house community will be even bigger in the future. Cheri enjoys spending time with her family and gardening in her spare time.

Nanci Miller - Director of Human Resources

Nanci has been very passionate about Tiny Living since she lost her first tooth at 5 years old. Her father would stack phone books for her to sit on so that she could see over his drafting table to draw up her own Tiny House plans. As she grew up, she has maintained the same level of love for living tiny. As a professional in the Tiny House Industry Nanci gets satisfaction knowing she is helping others fulfill their own dreams of living tiny.

 

She entered the Tiny House arena after attending Kent State University and investing over 20 years in the service industry. She is excited about the growth of the Tiny House ‘movement’. Nanci’s hobbies include Tiny Living shows, blogs, festivals and people.

Clay Neves

Neal Rogers

Clay Neves brings 30 years of sales management experience to solve your specific sales challenges with several Inc.500/5000 awards for sales growth. He designed, implemented and managed successful campaigns for Fortune 500 companies like Pacific Bell, Sprint, ATandT, Citibank, Showtime, and others. He has worked with thousands of business owners throughout the United States and Canada to grow their businesses by growing their sales results, through seminars, workshops, and one on one coaching.

Clay lives in West Jordan with his wife JaNae. They have two children, Janessa and Jordan. He enjoys playing his guitar, singing, writing poetry, solving puzzles, history, reading, and hiking the many canyon trails along the Wasatch front. He’s an award winning competitive speaker and professional member of the National Speakers Association.

Bio-9

Neal, a Native Texan, earned a Bachelors in Ocean Engineering, from Texas A&M College Station in 1983. After college, Neal spent time as a Roughneck for Global Marine Drilling on several offshore drill rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Following an injury, Neal got involved in building construction and materials engineering. During this time, Neal managed resident inspection and materials testing for Brown and Root, Inc. on a $600 million refinery upgrade project for Exxon in Baytown Texas.

Neal went on to serve as a Coastal Engineer to the State of Florida Department of Natural Resources. Neal’s work for the state of Florida focused on construction seaward of the State’s Coastal Construction Control Line. Neal’s work assisting engineers prepare site, foundation and structural plans for coastal structures, protecting Florida’s beaches and dunes, native vegetation and sea turtles along Florida’s Central East Coast was noteworthy. Neal was promoted to “DBS” Engineer (Division of Beaches and Shores), responsible for design and construction of all beach nourishment and inlet construction for the entire State of Florida.
Neal then went on to continue his service to the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Northwest District in Pensacola as Section Supervisor for the Domestic Waste Section, Division of Water Facilities. Neal was responsible to the design, construction, operation and permitting for 125 wastewater treatment facilities in the Florida Panhandle. During this time, the population growth in the Florida Panhandle was phenomenal. As a result, planning, design and construction of new or up-graded facilities to accommodate the growth was dominant. From there, Neal enjoyed a successful 25+ year career specializing in water and wastewater facilities, planning, design and construction.
Neal is now Managing Director for Rogers Engineering, Inc. Rogers Engineering incorporated in February 2018. Among his other practices, Neal’s is focused on residential, planning design and construction. Neal is a Certified Residential Inspector by the International Code Council (ICC). Neal is an expert in residential planning, design, construction and inspection.

Larry Morris

Larry has been an owner, Vice President, or otherwise related to the construction and inspection industry for decades. He holds a State of Florida Underground Utilities contractors Certification, State of Florida General Contractors Certification License, State of Florida Home Inspectors License, and Wood Destroying Organism Inspector license.

Carolyn Sack

Bio-6

Carolyn is a state certified residential contractor who has been certifying both tiny homes and residential dwellings since 2016. She has her InterNACHI Inspector’s license and has been working for NOAH during that time. Carolyn has been in the industry for years in production, accounting, and purchasing before she began inspection.

Tony Paolillo

Bio-7

Tony Paolillo spent 30 years in Delaware and now lives in Georgia with his wonderful wife of 35 years.

Fascinated by electricity since he was a boy, at 17, Tony went to work with an electrician as an apprentice doing house wiring and fell in love with it.

After serving in the US Army, he went to work for the electrical union doing commercial and industrial jobs.

Tony has his master’s license and his own electrical construction company and became the second largest electrical firm in the state of Delaware, employing over 40 people. After many years, Tony formed his own construction company as a residential building contractor. In 1997, he became a INACHI certified home inspector and IAC2. Tony is also a certified Mortgage Field Service Inspector

Alberto Valle

AL1

Alberto Vallehas 14 years of experience in the construction industry. His role includes overseeing construction for residential homes, commercial buildings and subdivision development projects. Review architectural, energy conservation, grading and subdivision improvement plans to enforce compliance with ordinance, rules and regulations for inspection purposes.

Moreover, review and inspect insulation, egress, water, sewer or storm drain lines, drainage, run off control, site development or renovation, street development, valuations, zoning , flood zones, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, Percolation tests reports, Energy Conservation reports and Architectural Plans prepared by consultants, contractors, engineers, architects or developers.

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso (U.T.E.P).
