NOAH’S Featured Builder January 2019
We are pleased to announce that Nomad Tiny Homes has been selected as NOAH’s Featured Builder of the Month! Nomad Tiny Homes, located in Dripping Springs, Texas was started with the goal to provide a minimalistic lifestyle full of clean lines, natural light and simplistic design. The following is from their website, “January 2016 we started the build for our very first tiny home, The Black Pearl, in our drive way. We put all our chips in one bag and the rest is history. You only live once, so jump. The reward can be life changing.”
After reading about this adventurous family, I am reminded of the Why Tiny? Article from last month. This company has nailed it! You could be living in a brand new modern Tiny Home from Nomad Tiny Homes, and not realize you are even in a Tiny Home. The use of natural light and closeness with nature extends your living space to the limits of your imagination, with a Nomad build.
The work produced by this company would leave any perfectionist satisfied. The safe and homey and top-shelf feel that their Tiny Homes give you is awe-inspiring. For more info visit their (website)
Again, Congratulations for being selected as NOAH’s Featured Builder of the Month! As a small token of our appreciation we will be sending out a NOAH Swag Box to the Team at Nomad Tiny Homes! Be sure to take a photo and tag us on social media so that we know you’ve received it.
City of Rockledge in Brevard County Florida welcomes Tiny Houses with open arms!
So far in Brevard County Florida, the City of Rockledge has approved rules for a Tiny House neighborhood!
Tiny Homes come in two basic types: Those built on foundations whether built on site or manufactured at a different location and then placed on a foundation.
: THOW’s which are manufactured on a chassis and towed to a home site. They are built as a permanent residence but are limited by Florida’s law for 180- day occupation. That’s the rule governing Recreational Vehicles. Read more here.
Placement is slowly becoming more Tiny House friendly. Atlanta, Rockledge, and California have all recently adapted because of the ongoing pressure for placement for families seeking alternative housing. The jurisdictions that are not onboard soon are going to get left behind. The Tiny House Movement is by all intents and purposes ’Moving’ forward. People will find opportunities wherever they are, and some Counties that aren’t as progressive will miss out on a bunch of potential tax payers living in their Municipality.
So in conclusion, thank you to the forward thinking Counties that want to include everyone, and provide a Home Haven for those living alternatively.

Quotes for Living Tiny…
As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness.
